They had nothing to loose. By some intent force they were destined to set their way to the
. Fart learned that some hermit had been keeping a thief gold treasure on this island from the pre-war years. They believed in this lucky ticket, but did not suspect that they had had lost this lottery beforehand, that this was a one-way ticket and this road will take them into the hell maze, where there was no way out. The story, which starts like the Russian fairy tale turned into the cruel bloody nightmare without any hope for happy end. “… It gives so much shiver while watching the movie that Danila Bagrov can be compared to Cinderella at such background”. (“Vecherniy Peterburg”)
The script had been written by Igor Ageev and Dmitry Svetozarov during 2-3 weeks. It was created specially for the actors’ trio: Svetlana Smirnova, Sergey Bekhterev, and Igor Lifanov. The film was shot for 21 days – a record short period. According to the producer’s words this is “The most dreadful, rough and cruel movie” which he had ever made.
