7-year-old Platon does not resemble his contemporaries at all. He lives in his inner world, where every thing has its own value. Platon can ride in a streetcar for hours, watching people get on and off, watching their faces and manners. His mother is not much interested in Platon’s world, his dreams and desires, she is entirely preoccupied by her own self and problems. Going away to celebrate the New Year with her lover, she leaves the kid face to face the big city…
