A young man named Moro (Victor Tsoy) arrives at Alma-Ata to collect an old debt from an aquaintance nicknamed «Spartak» (Alexander Bashirov). Here he meets his old flame Dina (Marina Smirnova) who has become a drug addict through being introduced by a malevolent doctor. Moro decides to stay and save his beloved and takes her to a desert rehabilitation centre for treatment. The process of rehabilitation is quite successful but upon their return the young people come face to face with a gang initiated by the villainous doctor. Moro accepts the challenge and wins. However, shortly after he finds out that Dina has descended into her old habits...
