The wheel of love

Russia, 1994

LENFILM, 2ÏèÊ'

89 min.

Erotic comedy

Kirill, an attractive young man without excessive scruples, decides to make a pretty penny as a «love priest». Alas, there is Abkhazian refugee Diana, a brothel charlady, who persistently interferes with his attempts of catering to his female clientele. The point is that Diana secretly fell in love with Kirill. Before long she succeeds in attracting the attention of Kirill, who flirts with the idea of marriage. At this point, he faces an unexpected obstacle in the person of two of Diana’s brothers who happen to be steadfast adherents of Islamic law. However, Diana manages to outwit them, and her methods prove most unconventional…
